2 more weeks

We had our 38 week appointment today and everyone is healthy. There was no further progression past the 1cm dilation I was last week and still no major effacement. This came as no big surprise to me because I really have not felt any contractions or discomfort to cause any changes this week. He was wiggly as usual and heartbeat loud and clear! My blood pressure and everything was perfect and she was happy with my state :) She estimates him to weigh in as a high 7 -low 8 pound baby right now. She reiterated the "no more newborn clothes " statement! He is still sitting head down and flexed into position and still has his little behind towards my left side. She said it was odd because for some reason babys prefer the right side....maybe he will be a lefty afterall... I measured right on at 38 cm this week and she said this will be all over the place now and could change with every stretch he makes. She commented that my long torso makes a nice compfy stretchy place for him to chill out. I hope hes not TOO comfy in there. I want to meet this guy already!!! Come out Owen!!! I am feeling pretty good these days but feeling sluggish at work with all the standing. Our furniture will FINALLY be here by this weekend hopefully, and I will post some pics of my belly and the furniture soon! Any day now......good luck to those in the pool! :)
