AHHH! It all got a little real today at my 28 week appointment. Being pregnant is nice and all but you want me to have a baby too? The appointment started with downing a 50 gram orange flavored glucose drink- eh. Then I saw Dr. Pringle. I had great blood pressure again and I think weight is on track. No one mentioned it! Kendall had a heart beat of 144. Then...I had to initial a million little statements about vaginal delivery/ c-sections, Dr. Pringle came in and talked about delivery options, the use of medication, risks for interventions etc. I didn't remember this part from the last pregnancy. I honestly didnt have many questions because I have not thought about delivery much this time around yet! I did ask her if Kendall is likely to stay head down now, and she said she could move in 180s until about 34 weeks. I have felt hiccups very low so I'm hoping this means she is head down and like it there!
My belly was measured again. I am now 2 weeks ahead again! I was so sure I was on track this time. I measured 30 weeks, she even measured a remeasured just to make sure. So, I guess there is no real down side right now, just means I get another ultrasound! I can't complain about that :) I will get a glimpse at a chubby baby girl, and a clearer 3D face of our wiggle bum!
I am chugging away at work, very very busy right now with one of our therapist overseas. I am on foot almost all day, or up and down, or making splints, and stretching people. I feel Kendall kick, punch and roll all day, and I have to sit very upright at the computer or I have trouble breathing or she kicks me in the ribs. I am actually sore where I think her feet are~ I forgive her ;)
Next appointment/US is October 4th (30 weeks), then the next one after that is made as well, for October 15th (32 weeks) Here we go!
