Glucose Test

I got a call last Friday that I failed my 1 hour glucose test with a 148 blood sugar reading. Cut-off is 135. grrr! So I had to go in Monday for the dreaded 3 HOUR test! ehh! It was awful as expected but not because of the 100 gram fruit punch syrup...because of the 5 sticks my poor arms had to endure. The time went by pretty fast with a good book but 2 of my veins blew and the tech did the best she could. Needless to say I look like some kind of victim still. A glucose test victim. But the good, no no, GREAT news is that my test came back normal and I am NOT diabetic. Thank God! is what I yelled on the phone when she told me the news :) So I can have my cake and eat it too, then again for breakfast ;-P Ultrasound coming up in a week. I can't wait to see your sweet chubby little face, sugar bum!
