The Dish From the Dubya's Digs: 34 Week Appointment

Daddy and I went to our 34 week appointment last week and we got to see our little sweet pea again on ultrasound! She has moved 180 degrees from head on my left side to head on my right side. That means she is still transverse, but apparently has lots of room to move. My fluid level was still 19 ( 5-22 scale) and she was again in the 60th percentile for growth. She was checking in a 5 lbs 3 oz already. Right on track. Her heart rate was 140 bpm. We could barely get a shot of her face because she was practically looking right up towards my ribs. We did see her opening her mouth and sticking her tongue out. I cannot WAIT to hold her. She looked like a real baby almost cooked and ready to join us. Dr. Pringle measured me but I forgot to ask her what I measured. Im am guessing I was just measuring one week ahead again because she did not make a comment about it. She did mention that she would like to do a 38 week ultrasound to check me again ( size, position?) I'm not sure why but I am not complaining. I had 7 ultrasounds with Owen too. She also mentioned a bunch of external version maneuvers we could try if she is still transverse but only for that, not if she is breech. It is very unlikely that she will stay like this as she gets bigger but Owen had already been head down by this point so it has been on my mind every time I feel here move. I am trying to figure out how to push her down there, or what is poking me where! Our next appointment is November 12th during which is the first internal exam. Heres hoping she is head down, and I am showing some progress!

This weekend we toughed out 2 long days as matron or honor at Joy and Chris' wedding. Everyone had very nice things to say, and I got rubbed down by Joy's entire Japanese family! I also amazed myself and others with the amount of energy I had and dancing that was done! I skipped the wine, and felt really good. Today I have very sore calf muscles, and am still very thirsty but happy I made it to the wedding. Kendall seemed to be just fine with all the standing and cold weather!
