So...1 cm dilated and not much effacement. This was somewhat expected because I really haven't had any contractions that I have noticed. I measured 37.5 cm so there was a little dropping but Dr. Pringle scored my station a 4- meaning Kendall is 4 cm from really being engaged in the pelvis yet, and really getting anything going. She is still a healthy 148 bpm and she was squirmy during the exam :) Dr. could feel her head but said she has much more dropping to do. Ultrasound is scheduled for next Tuesday again to check her growth and position. I can't see why this is really needed but we have been checking her every month. Kendall has really been stretching her arms and legs lately, so not so much kicking. She is seriously sitting on my bladder though and stopping me in my tracks! Yowch!!!!
I am really looking forward to our nice week and weekend together and Owen and I are going to check out a potential birthday party spot tomorrow! It is also going to be about 60 degrees this week so lots of walking and playing. I definitely have a beautiful and funny 2 year old distraction to play with to keep my mind off of being 9 months preggo! Thanksgiving has been done, tree lighting at Short Pump with Santa (pictures to come) so we will be putting up Christmas decor on Thanksgiving day! yay!
Sounds like she's in it for the long haul. But I still think she'll appear before her due date.
